Egypt: January 7th Declared Public Holiday for Copic Christmas
Jan. 4, 2025Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has declared that Tuesday, January 7, 2025, will be a paid public holiday for employees in government ministries, public authorities, local administrative units, public sector companies, public business sector companies, and private sector companies.
This decision aligns with the Christmas celebration, although any previously scheduled examinations will proceed as planned under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
In a statement commemorating the occasion, Dr. Madbouly extended his heartfelt well-wishes to all Coptic citizens celebrating Christmas.
Bahrain: Public holiday declared to support national football team
Jan. 1, 2025Following the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, declared Sunday, January 5, 2025, a public holiday for government entities to support Bahrain’s national football team in the Gulf Cup final against Oman in Kuwait.
